Toyosu is a man-made island in Tokyo close to Odaiba. It was created in the 1930s, and later enlarged.
Toyosu, the town where the new fish market relocated is here. Slowly shifting from Tsukiji Fish Market, about 900 businesses moved. Of course, after the wholesale bidding, the market is open for the public from 5:00 until 17:00. Make sure you check, as the opening hours can vary. The north of Toyosu Station is a massive shopping complex, Urban Dock LaLaport Toyosu.
Being so close to the water, consider this town as a place for BBQ-friendly town. Easy-peasy, you can rent a BBQ space with all the amenities and food being provided as well.
